We implement a child-centered approach where the voice of each child is encouraged and respected, allowing them to feel supported and to grow as individuals. Our location is unique in that we border both the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, whilst also being a member of the West Riding FA. As such, we are attractive and able to offer a wealth of talent, resources and opportunities.

We have use of 2 grounds for both training and matches which enable us to highlight the amazing community spirit and facilities on offer throughout the Marshlands area.

Community is at the heart of the club and is reflected in our local fundraising and established links.

Our Teams

With training open to various ages and all abilities, we aim to welcome children to join us in one of our age-appropriate sessions which are fun and engaging. Whether they are simply developing an interest in the game or are the next Messi or Ronaldo, there is no obligation to join a competitive team, but an opportunity to form life-long friendships through the love of the game.

At present, due to being a newly launched club, we are asking children initially to join our mini football academy as we have spaces available. Training will be on a Tuesday evening (during term times) between 5-6pm and will be on the school field opposite Reedness Primary School. Don’t forget to bring along your football boots and shin pads to every training session as this is essential.

Mini Football Academy 4-6 Years

Open to children aged between 4-6 years and acts as a progressive entry path into one of our Marshland Harriers football teams at u7 level

league Teams 6-18 Years

Entry to the Selby Football League begins with our u7’s (school Year 2’s). It is encouraged that younger children experience our Mini Football Academy
